There are several composers in Jaqâmaz, Juliette, Hussein, and Joachim. The 9 songs of this album are testimonies of the inner worlds through which the five musicians navigate. In this journey, it is as if each composer invites the others to be flown to a different planet, by bringing their colors, their vision, delicate, strange, enthusiastic, surprised, playful… Each artist expresses himself through written music as well as improvisation. These two approaches to music allow them to create different atmospheres and settings. From large and deserted landscapes to dense forests full of life, to the urban world we are all faced with.

Jaqâmaz’s debut album, Terre Intime, was recorded at Jet Studio in Brussels and mixed by Alain Steenhoudt. It is now available on all platforms.
